Prayers needed ASAP
Question:
Susan, please relay my thoughts and concern to this woman and her family. As a current cancer patient myself, I have great empathy and understanding of the emotional devastation that can come with such a diagnosis. I will ask the Universe for her quick recovery and complete healing; I send love and positive energy her direction. Elisabeth

Thank you–I’m collecting notes that people are posting & sending & I’ll send them in one note to the Mom–hopefully, she will be able to get email. I feel really horrible about this–I told her that she would probably be ok because she had just had breast surgery 5 months earlier & it would probably be in the early stage–it appears that things are significantly worse & I wonder how the doctor could miss all of this! She is young & school age kids as I recall. Susan
Response:
I said my Prayer for her, and will keep her in my prayers. Susan please let us know how she is doing. Thanks’ Amanda
Thank you–I’m still in shock from the note–I just don’t understand how they missed the cancer & she is so young! As many of you know, I also come from a breast cancer background, but I was very lucky–negative nodes. I was 31 at the time. Please, if you ever find a lump, don’t delay going in–your life is at stake. So, if it turns out to be nothing–it is better to be safe than sorry. Have YOU had a mammagram lately? Have YOU had a checkup lately? No, I’m not talking to a specific person–just all of us who delay making appointments and going in–I know–I too do that! Have YOU had a pap smear lately? Susan

And, her family & children–I believe that her children are still in school. Susan

Thanks’ Amanda – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I just received a note from one of our own. She is in the recovery room post-surgery & she told her mom to email my group & tell them how she is. 5 months ago, she had explant of ruptured silicone gel implants. Last week, they explored a lump she had found & discovered cancer + it had gone to her lymph glands. At that time, the doctor said she was lucky that she had the implants out so that they could find the cancer, but I wonder how on earth did they miss it while in there. Today, she had a bi-lateral RADICAL mastectomy. She had lots of complications & is in the Critical Care Unit. The news from the surgery is that the cancer was more widespread than they thought. I will conclude with a note from her Mom: " Please pray for my daughter. She is my only daughter and has 5 older brothers who think the world of her. I keep thinking it isn’t fair but she tells me it’s in God’s hands. Excuse me for saying so but I believe the blood is on Dow Chemical’s hands. They don’t even care I’m losing my only daughter." Please say some prayers for her. Susan
