Here we go again

Question:

Wende, Sorry that the Raynauds and the esophagus are acting up…..our thougths and prayers will also be with you on Mon when you have the biopsies. Oh that is so good to hear that your mom and your friend are both doing better.  My prayers are still with them. Sounds like a lot of renovation and remodeling going on at your place…. As for the Hummingbird feeder….I have heard that once you put one out you need to keep it there  and filled…..I’m sure Bev will know and respond once she catches up. Not sure where Andy is….he does tend to stray and be absent (traveling) sometimes….so here is hoping that he is off on a nice, relaxing and enjoyable trip. Hugs, Ssherry

Will keep all of you in my prayers. > We are having our kitchen, small dining room, utility room and a small >bathroom floors tiled!

BWAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAHAHA.  Have fun!  Just teasing – I really thought it would be no big deal but between the plumbing issues and the lack of motivation on the part of one of the contract workers it was a hassle.  I would do it again though – I love the tile.  So much easier to clean than that *(&#$&*(#&$ vinyl cr*p. >  We still have Hummingbirds, should I take down the feeders?

I don’t think they’d like that – they’ll need all the fuel they can get as the cool weather comes on.   >We have tons >of jalapenos, Habaneras, chilies, and banana peppers.

grilled Banana peppers… delish… and totally bad for my gut. >Our Hibiscus is still blooming as are the Rose of Sharon.

I’ve seen lots of hibiscus around here this year that are blooming a long time – must be all the rain we’ve had and the not-too-vicious temparatures.   >   That about catches us up for now. Where is Andy?? Wende

Sorting through some 100s of posts and emails I believe.  He’ll be catching up soon, complete with sick humour. k

((((((((((((((((((Wende)))))))))))))))))))))) So sorry to hear that you’ve been blessed with a witch!  Well, did you at least get to take some of those whooppee drugs home for later use?  ;) Hope you’re feeling better asap.  I know it can be so infuriating when you’re already feeling so sick to have the one that’s supposed to make life a bit easier and help you, only cause more pain and misery.  Whine all you want, and I’ll be praying for those danged biopsies to come back healthy as can be. -Sharon — Clear your mind, relax and float downstream. *Please* file a report – she might do some deadly damage next time. Try warm packs on the hand, that usually helps. I once had a nurse who said I was a "crybaby" for complaining about an infiltrated line while in hospital.  She covered it with gauze and told me to stop complaining. I got on the telephone and called the nursing supervisor.  Nurse from hell was told to go down to the office, and a *lovely* RN (real nurse) came to fix things. They don’t know what is happening unless the patients speak up (same goes for *good* experiences). Saying prayers for benign biopsies. "Wende" <n…@cox.net> wrote in message

Response:

Wende, No excuse for the nurse and her attitude and treatment!  I think that a report to the hospital might just be in order. Sorry that you had to experience the bad situation on top of the stress from all that you are going through. Thinking of you and sending gentle hugs and extra prayers. Sherry

Wende, I have been worried about you, and your mom also.  I have not heard from you in awhile and I knew you were going to have some tests done soon.  I will keep you in my prayers every night. I can not believe that did not heal yet?  So sorry about that.  And mom is getting her feeding tube out and friend better, what good news finally for you and your family and friend. Oh my a construction job.  Tiling?  ARe you doing it?  And get the pool ready for winter.  OH no, not yet?  Don’t talk about winter yet.  Leave the feeders up yet, them birds are still around here too.  Our Rose of Sharon is right outside our bedroom windown.  How beautiful are they? Oh my nice.  Ours really grew this year, for some strange reason. Hope thing settle down with your esoph, I know how that can be a pain. I mean PAIN.   sorry   (((((hugs))))) janers

Response:

Wende, I am sorry that you are having a rough go.  I am really glad to hear good news about your mom. As far as the bird feeders are concerned, I know it depends on when the hummingbirds do that south thing. Migrate. I couldn’t think of the word. duh.But if you leave them out too long, they dont Migrate like they are suppose to and then it gets too late in the season.  I Think.  Like I said Duh!   I am ready for them to send some of the rain and cooler weather this way although it will make my aches and pains worse.            "Wende" <n…@cox.net> wrote in message

Not for a month at least. Our neighbours took theirs down, and the hummers are buzzing us hoping for a handout. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> We have tons > of jalapenos, Habaneras, chilies, and banana peppers. Ahhhh, Rose of Sharon bushes!  My mom planted one when she got home from the hospital with me.  (My name is Sharon).  I hope you are feeling well soon, Wende! -Sharon — Clear your mind, relax and float downstream. To email me, remove NOSPAM
